The varieties of olive trees that characterize our oil are:
Moresca: a variety of olive trees found mainly in the eastern part of Sicily, an area where the Moresca olive originates. An excellent Sicilian extra virgin olive oil is produced from this olive.
Pizzutella: autochthonic cultivar of Sicily which is found in the areas of Catania, Siracusa and Ragusa but also in Calabria. It is used only for the production of extra virgin olive oil characterized by a balanced taste very appreciated by the public.
Nocellara: represents a very valuable variety and is among the most esteemed varieties . Excellent both for the production of extra virgin olive oil and for the canteen consumption characterized by a very low acidity.
